The award-winning team at GGLO is currently accepting applications for our **2022 Interior Design Summer Internship Program** in our **Seattle** office. We are a collaborative and integrated design firm located in Seattle, Los Angeles, and Boise. This summer we are seeking developing designers who are interested in gaining firm experience while helping to advance our strategic initiatives through research and exploration.

We design buildings, landscapes, and places that weave together a vibrant mix of uses to embrace the communities where we work. Our dynamic team of interdisciplinary professionals craft solutions for our clients by asking the right questions, diving deep into understanding their needs and the context of our projects, and by pursuing new ways of thinking about the future. We are recognized in the design community for the quality and thoughtfulness of our work, and for being focused on outcomes that build healthy communities and cities.

**About The Role**

GGLOs interns are fully integrated into a project team and exposed to authentic interior design tasks. They participate in mentoring and coaching opportunities, attend GGLOs continuing education and training programs, explore their chosen career path, and experience life as a design professional. Each GGLO intern will identify an area of interest for research and investigation that they will present to the firm at the end of their tenure.

Requirements

Working towards a Degree in interior design

Authorization to work in the United States

Ability to commit to at least 10 weeks full time employment with GGLO with opportunity to become full time staff

Fluency in English

Basic knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite

Willingness to learn additional 3D visualization programs (Rhino/ Grasshopper)

Demonstrated ability to produce quality work

Must be able to work independently and in groups

Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible
