Our client has an immediate opening for an experienced Architectural/Interior Designer in
Baltimore, MD, to be a part of a collaborative team that will advance the development of interior design solutions for our properties as well as third party projects. Looking for innovative, fast-paced, creative person that matches description below:
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Architecture or Design, or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture
Minimum of 3-5+ years of experience in Commercial Interior Design
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
Strong technical skills: competency in application of local commercial building, life safety and
accessibility codes
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, and interest to build and maintain client
relationships are essential
Job Responsibilities:
Provide a depth of knowledge in the areas of space planning, block planning, conceptual and
schematic design, furniture layout and space requirements development.
Work closely with in-house Leasing and Interior Construction Departments.
Collaborate with client and in-house team to develop solutions for space utilization.
Gather program requirements and translate into efficient, innovative, and functional space plans.
Meet with client to evaluate needs, determine project requirements, produce plans from
conceptual block diagrams to approved final floor plan, select materials, lighting and develop
finish palettes.
Produce Construction Drawings for pricing, permitting and construction to include: Millwork
Elevations/Sections, Interior Detailing, Reflected Ceiling, Power/Data, and Finish Plan and
Schedule.
Review Shop Drawing submittals.
Generate square footage calculations based on BOMA standards.
May attend physical field site visits, progress meetings and inspections as needed.
Assist with proposal development.
