Job Description

Position Summary:

We are partnering with a local firm to hire a Human Resources (HR) Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources function within the organization. This includes recruitment and staffing, employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits administration, training and development, and policy development. The HR Manager ensures the implementation of human resources strategies that support the organization’s overall mission, culture, and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with the organization’s goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage the full cycle of recruitment and onboarding processes, including job postings, interviews, hiring, and orientation.
  • Provide guidance and support to management and employees on HR policies, procedures, and employment-related matters.
  • Oversee employee relations efforts to ensure a positive working environment, manage conflict resolution, and conduct investigations as needed.
  • Administer compensation and benefits programs and work with vendors to ensure competitive offerings.
  • Coordinate performance appraisal processes and assist in the development and implementation of employee development and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Maintain and update employee records in accordance with legal requirements and internal policies.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and support strategic planning.
  • Support organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement and employee engagement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) is strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Experience working with Employee Relations.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems, ADP Workforce and ATS systems.
