The Ontario Airport Hotel, a vibrant 309-room hotel, under new ownership, is embarking on an exciting renovation. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales management, a passion for building high-performing teams, and a deep understanding of our industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to sales inquiries from potential clients and customers seeking sleeping rooms, meeting space, food, and beverage services, etc.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives
  • Identify new market opportunities and develop strategies to expand the customer base
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, generate new business, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to stay ahead of the competition
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and marketing initiatives
  • Strong knowledge of sales techniques, including outside sales, account management, and business development
  • Determine rates, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, service accounts and analyze lost and potential business for the hotel
  • Develop sales plans and strategies to meet or exceed revenue and room night goals
  • The Sales Manager is also responsible for driving customer loyalty by delivering service excellence

Qualifications:

  • A degree in hospitality management, business administration, marketing, or a related field is often preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills are essential for building relationships with clients and understanding their needs.
  • Previous sales experience; Experience in sales, particularly within the hospitality industry, is crucial.
  • Excellent negotiation skills to secure contracts and close deals.

Availability : The hotel operates 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. Schedules must accommodate fluctuating business demands
