The role involves managing a daily patient volume of 15-20 clinic visits and rounding on 1-2 hospital patients as needed. The specialist will primarily handle 10-15 new hematology consults per week without oncology patient consultations. Coverage needed: 1 week a month, the week does not matter as long as it stays consistent. Setting: Clinic during the day and in-patient for rounding or call if needed. Schedule: Mon 8a ? Mon 8a Patient volume for office/clinic per day: 15-20 Patients per day Patient volume for hospital patients per day: Varies depending on call.
