Position summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Night Shift Front Office Janitorial Support Specialist to oversee cleaning operations and maintain our facility to showcase quality standards. This role serves as the primary liaison between management and cleaning contractors while ensuring all janitorial needs are met throughout the building during evening hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a point of contact for the contracted cleaning company
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet our high cleanliness standards
• Manage janitorial inventory, including cleaning supplies and equipment
• Identify maintenance issues or cleaning concerns that require attention
• Document and report facility issues to leadership in a timely manner
• Clearly communicate expectations and quality standards to cleaning contractors
• Provide janitorial support in various areas of the building as needed
• Ensure front office areas are pristine and ready for business operations the following day
• Perform quality control checks on completed cleaning tasks

Experience:

• Previous experience in janitorial supervision or facility maintenance preferred
• Strong communication skills with ability to effectively direct contractors
• Detail-oriented with excellent quality control abilities
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently during night hours
• Basic inventory management experience
• Problem-solving skills to address unexpected cleaning or maintenance issues
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks nightly to include deep cleaning in areas not suitable to complete on dayshift
• Reliable transportation for night shift schedule

Position Requirements:

• Standing/Walking: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 10-12 hours per shift) while conducting facility inspections and supervising cleaning operations
• Lifting/Carrying: Capable of lifting and carrying items weighing up to 30 pounds, such as cleaning supply boxes, equipment, or inventory items
• Bending/Stooping: Frequent bending, stooping, and kneeling to inspect low areas, baseboards, under furniture, and to occasionally assist with cleaning tasks
• Reaching/Stretching: Ability to reach overhead and stretch to inspect and potentially clean high areas, light fixtures, vents, and ceiling corners
• Manual Dexterity: Sufficient hand coordination and dexterity to operate cleaning equipment, handle supplies, and complete documentation
• Mobility: Ability to move throughout all areas of the facility, including stairs
• Endurance: Physical stamina to work a full night shift while maintaining attention to detail
