JOB SUMMARY We're seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Farms Account Manager to support a portfolio of both commercial and personal agricultural accounts. This role is client-focused, being the go-to point of contact while supporting the sales team. This position requires an understanding of ag insurance, strong client relationship skills, proactiveness, attention to detail, and a passion for serving the community.ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES Serve as the main point of contact for a book focused on clients with farms or other agribusiness needs Manage day-to-day service of accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a high level of client satisfaction in all transactions Conduct regular reviews to assess coverage needs, risk exposure, and policy effectiveness Answer questions regarding all lines of coverage, and assisting with plan and/or carrier changes, claims, and billing Provide advice and counsel to assigned accounts Review current insurance programs, offering the right coverage at a competitive price Assist clients with claims processing Prepare and present quotes, proposals, and product comparisons tailored to client needs Maintain client files in the agency management system following standard company policies and procedures, ensuring #oneTEAM's mission of service Schedule, attend, and participate in meetings, trainings, and classes Develop and maintain positive and effective relationships with partner insurance carriersStrive to return phone calls, messages, and emails on the same business day Enter activity and other relevant information accurately into the company's software system(s) in accordance with company procedures Follow all federal and state regulations, and best practices for avoiding errors and omissionsContinue professional development related to obtaining and maintaining licensing and designations as applicable Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)A combination of education and experience generally attained through a high school degree, bachelor's degree, and a minimum of 2 years in ag insuranceActive property & casualty insurance licenseDemonstrated success in customer service Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, demonstrating ability to prioritize tasks effectively Self-starter who takes initiative to identify problems and lead by example Ability to work in a fast-paced environment BEHAVIOR EXPECTATIONSA role model for North Risk Partners' core values, mission, and desired cultureDemonstrate enthusiasm and a positive attitudeProfessionally and positively represent North Risk Partners to all coworkers, clients, and external stakeholdersA team player who collaborates and works well with his/her coworkersA professional who demonstrates the ability to carry on a conversation with clients, Risk Advisors, and other coworkers within North Risk PartnersPHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSPerform under normal office conditions; may include lifting/carrying objects weighing up to 25 poundsTwist, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, stand, walk, and reach frequentlyHear, speak, and effectively verbally communicate in the English language, including following oral and written instructions to communicate with people inside and outside of the organizationSit and a desk for extended periods of time and perform long hours of work sitting at a computerMove around office/building/facilities repeatedly throughout the dayApply manual dexterity, visual acuity and ability, for computer keyboarding, office equipment uses, review of detailed reports, information, fine print, and warning labelsMust possess valid driver's license and be able to travel to different North Risk Partners locations for meetings, as well as various locations throughout the state and potentially the region for client meetingsAble to work a flexible work schedule, including overtime, nights, and weekends to attend events and meetings as neededTOOLS AND EQUIPMENT USED Incumbents must be able to use telephones, calculators, copy machines, computers, printers, and other office equipmentWORK ENVIRONMENTThe work environment is primarily indoors. The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training. The hiring range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
