Baptist Emergency Hospitals represent a network of eight specialized emergency care facilities strategically located throughout the San Antonio area. These facilities are designed to provide focused emergency medical services with shorter wait times than traditional hospital emergency departments. Each location (Hausman, Overlook, Schertz, Thousand Oaks, Westover Hills, Zarzamora, Converse, and Rigsby) serves its surrounding community with emergency care capabilities while maintaining the ability to transfer patients to larger facilities when more comprehensive care is needed.
