Electrician Apprentice job at Steadfast. Tampa, FL. Overview Electrician Apprentice Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and reliable Electrician Apprentice to join our team. This is an entry-level position, ideal for someone looking to start a career in the electrical trade. No prior experience is necessary—we will provide on-the-job training. The Apprentice will assist with commercial electrical and low voltage installations and repairs, gaining hands-on experience while working under the supervision of licensed electricians. Key Responsibilities Assist electricians with commercial electrical and low voltage installation and service tasks Measure, cut, and bend wire and conduit to required lengths and angles Pull wire or cable through conduits and ducts Use digital multimeters to measure voltage, amperage, and continuity Help install and connect switches, outlets, and receptacles Organize tools and materials, and maintain a clean job site Follow all job-site safety rules and procedures Learn and apply basic electrical principles and code requirements Take direction and communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Qualifications No prior electrical experience required High school diploma or GED preferred Strong willingness to learn and grow in the electrical trade Ability to take direction and work as part of a team Basic math and measurement skills Punctual, dependable, and safety-conscious Reliable transportation to and from job sites Ability to pass background check and drug screening Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Work in tight spaces, on ladders, and in outdoor conditions Ability to stand, kneel, and bend for extended periods What We Offer Paid on-the-job training Opportunities for advancement and apprenticeship programs Competitive pay Health and dental benefits Supportive team environment focused on safety and skill development #J-18808-Ljbffr Steadfast
