A Survey Drafter is responsible for creating detailed maps and drawings based on survey data, working closely with surveyors to ensure precision in documents representing land topography, property boundaries, and infrastructure layouts. Required skills include proficiency in CAD software, knowledge of surveying techniques, and attention to detail.

• Create detailed technical drawings and plans using CAD software
• Collaborate with engineers and architects to incorporate design specifications
• Review and revise drawings based on feedback from project stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Calculate dimensions, weights, and quantities for accurate construction and manufacturing
• Maintain updated records of all drawings and revisions
• Assist in the development of project timelines and schedules
• Conduct field visits to gather measurements and notes for project accuracy
• Prepare documentation and reports related to drafting activities
• Offer support and guidance to junior drafters and interns

• Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
• Experience in 3D modeling and rendering
• Knowledge of industry-specific software and standards
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Previous experience working in a similar drafting role
• Familiarity with building codes and construction safety regulations
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Creative thinking and ability to innovate design solutions

Survey Project Managers are responsible for planning, conducting, and directing survey projects, managing project schedules, and ensuring quality control. Key responsibilities include supervising field crews, managing survey equipment, performing layout calculations, and preparing project proposals.

• The ability and knowledge to accurately and efficiently perform the following tasks including, but not limited to:
• Well Connect Pipeline Surveys
• Well Head Staking
• Pipeline Route Staking
• Pipeline As-built Surveys
• Construction Staking
• Topographical Surveys
• Boundary Surveys
• ALTA Surveys
• Proficient operation of Trimble GPS and Robotic Total Station, to include Trimble Field Software.
• Proficient operation of AutoCAD Civil3D 2014
• Knowledge and ability to interpret engineering plans accurately.
• Maintain Baseline standards in survey notes, point descriptions, and calculations.
• Prepare clear project task documentation when needed.
• Work directly with the client to ensure scope and deadlines are met
