We are seeking a talented and imaginative full-time or part-time Designer with a focus on swimwear and activewear to join our dynamic team at Nani Swimwear. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and crafting unique swimwear and activewear collections that align with our brand vision. This position requires a strong understanding of fashion design and fabrics, as well as current trends and styles.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative prints and designs for swimwear and activewear collections, ensuring they reflect current trends while maintaining the brands unique style and aesthetic.
• Collaborate with the design team to create concepts, mood boards, and sketches that capture the desired vision for each collection.
• Conduct research on emerging trends, fabrics, and technologies within the fashion industry to inform and inspire design decisions.
• Create detailed sketches and specifications for production, including sizing, construction methods, and material usage.
• Collaborate with the production team to select and source appropriate fabrics, trims, and accessories for each collection.
• Work closely with pattern makers and sample technicians to oversee the development of prototypes and samples.
• Conduct fit sessions and provide feedback on samples to ensure proper fit and functionality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry advancements and participate in relevant trade shows and exhibitions.
• Maintain organized records of designs, sketches, and sample approvals.

Knowledge, Experience, Skills, & Abilities

• Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Designer in swimwear and/or activewear.
• Proficient in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Strong knowledge of fashion design, fabrics, construction, and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to create sketches and specifications for production.
• Excellent understanding of current fashion trends and market demands.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a team.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design and quality.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiastic, creative, and passionate about fashion design for swimwear and activewear.
