Overview
We are seeking a ROCK STAR Dental Assistant to join our NEW dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in assisting the dental team in various procedures and make sure that our patients have a WOW experience. This position requires a strong understanding of dental anatomy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary materials are available.
• Take and develop X-rays, adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize 3D scanners for creating accurate dental impressions.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and patient records using Open Dental software.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care instructions.
• Ensure compliance with aseptic techniques to maintain a safe environment for patients.

Experience

• Knowledge of anatomy, medical terminology, and dental procedures is essential.
• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is mandatory.
• Familiarity with X-ray technology and 3D scanning equipment is advantageous.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage medical documentation effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while providing excellent patient care.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 16 per week
