Amazon is hiring for full time or part time delivery driver positions responsible for delivering packages.

Location: 394 Fanning Fields Rd, Mills River, NC 28759

Benefits & Scheduling for Delivery Driver:

• BONUS STARTING PAY $19/HR IF HIRED BY SEP 10TH).
• $17.25/HR (paid Bi-weekly) + yearly raises
• 10 hour shifts are typical
• 4-day work week for full time/ 2-3 day work week for part time
• Start time will be dependent on the Amazon warehouse needs/Time frame: 11:00am-12:30pm

Key Duties & Responsibilities of Delivery Driver:

• Successfully handle and deliver packages on time
• Safely drive and perform safety inspections on Company vehicle, follow all local & state laws, road/driving regulations, and Company policies
• Provide excellent customer service and satisfaction despite stressful events / conditions
• Keep pace in physically demanding job; work in all weather conditions; lift packages (up to 50 lbs); get in and out of a van repeatedly throughout the day at variable locations and go up/down stairs for deliveries
• Communicate effectively with support team to provide exceptional customer service and ensure deliveries are completed
• Use smartphone device for GPS Navigation, scanning packages, conducting administrative requirements such as clocking in/out, and communicate with supervisors and other team members
• Load and unload packages in delivery vehicle
• Support the team in daily work requirements including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes

Requirements of Delivery Driver:

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Must hold a non-provisional, unrestricted driver’s license
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a 4-Panel Drug Screening (which does not include pre-employment testing for marijuana)
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report (multiple violations can disqualify you from the position)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

Equipment Provided for Delivery Driver:

• Delivery Vehicle & Gas (2022 Ford Transit standard cargo vans)
• Handheld technology
• Uniforms
• Other safety and administrative gear necessary for job accomplishment
