As a Data Analyst/Data Scientist Intern at RAM Aviation, Space and Defense, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced technical and financial leaders to gain valuable insights into the world of data-driven decision-making. You will play a crucial role in supporting our data analysis efforts, contributing to the development of actionable insights, and helping drive data-centric strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Collection and Preparation:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand data needs and objectives.
• Extract, assist in collecting and cleaning data from various sources.
• Validate and ensure data accuracy and integrity.

2. Data Analysis:

• Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
• Building tools to automate data collection.
• Utilize statistical techniques and tools to analyze data sets.

3. Reporting and Visualization:

• Create and maintain interactive dashboards and reports to communicate key insights.
• Generate visualizations (charts, graphs, etc.) to present data findings effectively.

4. Collaboration:

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and provide data-driven recommendations.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on data analysis strategies.

5. Documentation:

• Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings.
• Prepare reports and summaries for presentation to stakeholders.

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL).
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
