The Clinical Education Specialist for Trauma Med Surg is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating educational programs for clinical staff to enhance patient care in a trauma and acute care surgery nursing division. This role involves managing house-wide educational initiatives and collaborating with various stakeholders to meet educational and regulatory requirements. With a focus on adult learning principles, the specialist ensures that educational programs are effective and cost-efficient, which supports superior patient experiences.
Additional Information About the RoleDivisions 6400 & 6500 are a combined trauma, geriatric trauma, and acute care surgery nursing division. We have a combined bed capacity of 63 patients. Our nurses specialize in the care of patients who have experienced a variety of traumatic injuries including motor vehicle accidents, gunshot wounds, stab injuries, traumatic amputations, fall injuries, burns, fractures, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries.
