Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a Class C commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials over long or short distances
Load and unload cargo as needed, ensuring secure and safe handling
Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of vehicle
Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, hours of service, and vehicle maintenance
Follow all federal, state, and local traffic laws and DOT regulations
Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and team members in a professional manner
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety, operations, and conduct
Ensure timely delivery and pick-up of freight to assigned destinations
Requirements:
Valid Class C Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
Clean driving record with no major violations
Minimum 2 years of CDL driving experience (preferred but not required)
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed
Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hours-of-service rules
Excellent time management and customer service skills
Willingness to travel overnight or on extended routes as needed
Must pass a background check and drug screening
