Chinese Translator , your primary responsibility will be to accurately translate written and spoken content from Chinese to English and vice versa. This role requires a high degree of proficiency in both languages, cultural sensitivity, and attention to detail. You will work closely with various departments to ensure clear and effective communication with our Chinese-speaking clients and partners. Your tasks will include translating documents, interpreting during meetings, and assisting with cross-cultural communication.

- Translate a variety of written materials such as reports, manuals, and correspondence from Chinese to English and English to Chinese.
- Interpret spoken language during meetings, phone calls, and video conferences.
- Ensure translations are accurate and maintain the original tone and meaning.
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate effective communication with Chinese-speaking clients and partners.
- Proofread and edit translations to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in the development of bilingual materials, including marketing content, product descriptions, and internal communications.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Stay updated with the latest linguistic and cultural trends.
- Participate in training and development activities to improve translation skills.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures, including safety rules and regulations.
- Maintain a safe work environment and operate in a safe manner.
- Perform other job duties related to the job, as assigned by management.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements/Qualifications: - High School Diploma or equivalent GED Certificate. Bachelor's Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
- Two or more years of work experience in translation or interpretation
- Proficient skills in reading, writing, and speaking in both Chinese (Mandarin) and English.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in translation.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.

This position is currently classified as on-site. Base Salary Range: $20 - 27 per hour, based on candidate professional experience level. Employees are eligible to participate in Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401(k), Holidays, Vacation, Tuition Reimbursement Program.
The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
