We are currently seeking a Chemical Handler to work at our Louisville, KY location.

This role is responsible for:

• Daily production
• Unloading raw materials
• Completing paperwork
• Maintaining a safe operation

Schedule:

• Full-time, 1st shift
• Monday–Friday , 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
• Additional hours may be required

You will:

• Transfer products into and out of pails, drums, and totes using transfer pumps and hoses
• Read paperwork with chemical amounts and blending instructions
• Pull product samples and submit them to the Lab for quality control
• Label containers and secure closures
• Inspect, label, store, and prepare products for shipment
• Stage, load, and unload pails, drums, and totes
• Operate a forklift
• Wear required PPE for safety
• Keep your work area safe, clean, and orderly
• Lift and/or move 55 lbs
• Cross-train in areas such as shipping/receiving, bulk handling, inventory control, chemical packaging, fiberglass handling, tote cleaning, preventive maintenance, and yard truck spotting

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Strong safety mindset
• Forklift certification ( training is provided )
• Effective verbal and written communication skills to work with co-workers, chemists, administrative staff, delivery personnel, and management
