Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Cement Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a cement mixer truck, ensuring timely delivery of ready-mix concrete to job sites. This role requires excellent driving skills, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to interact professionally with customers and site personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and drive a cement mixer truck to transport and deliver ready-mix concrete to various construction sites.
Inspect truck and mixer before and after trips to ensure safety and operational readiness.
Load and unload concrete materials in accordance with company procedures and safety guidelines.
Maintain delivery schedules and ensure on-time arrivals to job sites.
Follow all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
Clean and maintain the truck, mixer, and related equipment after each use.
Communicate with dispatch and site personnel to coordinate deliveries and resolve any delivery issues.
Complete and maintain delivery logs, inspection reports, and other required paperwork.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
1+ year of commercial driving experience (cement mixer or construction hauling preferred).
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. and work in outdoor environments.
Strong time management and communication skills.
