Job Description

We are a new bar in Westover Village Arlington serving the best Margaritas and tacos since your last trip south of the border. Though we have a great bar team, we have a rare opening for one person to join our team. The perfect candidate would have many of the follow attributes:

- Be a team player. Enjoy being part of something.

- Be a multitasker. There are always parts of every shift that get very very busy. You must be able to handle that business while continuing to give great service.

- Give a uniquely personal experience to each guest. Be the life of the party when one group needs it while stealthily getting food and drinks to a table without interupting their conversation at another. Reading each table and being the service expert that they need.

- Communicate! Not just with guests, but with the team, and also with the owners. It is everyone's responsibility to take care of the restaurant and the best way to do that is to work together. We are a small owner operated restaurant. You will have my cell munber and I want to hear from you when the store needs something, you have an idea to improve something, a vendor came in to the store, or any of a million other reasons. I promise the same in return. You will hear from the ownership team. We will make sure you know what is going on and have time to give your opinion of changes before thry happen.

- Drive business. Make regulars. Be worthy of that 5 star rating every time. Mention events and such coming up. Say hello when they come in and invite them back when they are leaving. Ask how there food and drinks are every time. We will do our part to advertise and give great events and specials to bring people in. Please do your part to keep them coming back.

- Know your stuff! Whether it is our limited drink menu or our small but awesome food menu. Know how to answer guests questions. Because we did limit the size of our menus we can deliver great food and drinks. The best way to do that? Make sure they go out the same way every time. Know the recipes. Be able to answer questions, especially about allergies. Always make it correctly using measuring utensils where called for.

- Have bar experience. With our high pace we need someone who can jump right in. We will train you, but we need someone who knows the basics.
