A day in this roleYour shift begins at 3:00 PM EST. You arrive on the production floor, review work instructions, and complete line clearance to ensure a clean start. You’ll perform optical tool inspections, assemble components as needed, and run mechanical and negative checks before initiating the Auto Process (Cutting Instruments) . With gauges and fixtures in hand, you monitor outputs and statistically supervise quality, documenting everything according to GMP/GDP and SOP requirements. When a minor issue pops up, you diagnose and resolve it quickly, handle materials safely, and prepare for changeovers to keep production on pace. Throughout the evening, you collaborate with teammates, complete required training, and contribute ideas that drive continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.
