Job Description
Objectives and Responsibilities:
- Develop innovative building designs and plans across multiple infrastructure categories.
- Ensuring building plans, prototypes, and structures are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Comply with all relevant local and national building codes, regulations, and applicable laws.
- Collaborate and take direction from Architect on project objectives, budgets, and timelines.
- Develop detailed architectural plans and 3D models using Revit software.
- Consult with clients and stakeholders to understand their vision, provide design solutions, and communicate project updates.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, interior designers, and other professionals to ensure smooth project integration.
- Review, interpret, and clearly communicate complex technical documentation to the team.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, ensure safety, and verify adherence to design intent.
Qualifications and Skills:
- 4+ years of experience in drafting and design engineering.
- 2-4 year degree in architectural engineering or related field.
- Experience and proficiency in 3D modeling and in Revit software.
- Demonstrated ability to design projects that are safe, reliable, and visually compelling.
- Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Current knowledge of industry trends, technology, codes, and regulations.
