The role also involves supervising, training, and developing staff in cash, payables, debt transactions, invoicing, accounts receivable, fixed‑asset accounting, and GAAP journal entries. Strong project‑management skills are required to schedule resources and create monitoring checklists for multiple projects. Key responsibilities: Serve as the main client contact for multiple accounting service relationships. Oversee monthly accounting processes: payables, transaction recording, month‑end close, and accrual or GAAP‑based reconciliations. Perform financial statement review, analysis, and discuss results with clients. Supervise, train, and develop staff on accounting procedures and month‑end journal entries. Manage multiple client accounts, deadlines, and teams while leading professional development. Apply strong project‑management skills: schedule resources, create checklists, and monitor ongoing projects. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in accounting. CPA license or plan to obtain. 5–7 years of total accounting experience, including public accounting and managerial roles. Complete understanding of the full accounting cycle and financial statements. Experience with QuickBooks, Excel, and Word (Sage/Peachtree, Dynamics, NetSuite preferred).
