Work Schedule - Tuesday 12:00 am - Saturday 8:30 am As a Production Worker you will: Part Production: Operate CNC machines to produce quality parts, including loading parts, proving programs, setting offsets, making simple edits, deburring, and performing quality inspections to ensure conformance to specifications. Reading and Interpretation: Study and interpret engineering drawings, manuals, specifications, or sample parts to determine dimensions, tolerances, sequence of operations, and setup requirements. Measurement and Layout: Measure and mark dimensions and reference points on materials or workpieces as a guide for machining operations. Machine Monitoring and Adjustment: Detect equipment malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions and make necessary machine adjustments within scope of capability. Report any equipment issues or malfunctions to the supervisor immediately. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with supervisors, engineers, production control, quality, and other shop personnel regarding job assignments and to resolve machining or quality-related issues. Maintenance and Housekeeping: Keep equipment and the work area clean and organized. Perform basic preventative maintenance tasks on assigned equipment. Additional Duties: Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor, which may include supporting other areas of production. Equipment Operation: May be responsible for the startup and shutdown of shop equipment once properly trained and deemed knowledgeable. This is a full time opportunity The ideal candidate will have: 1. Experience operating CNC machines such as lathes and milling machines in a manufacturing environment, including set up, offset, changeovers, and program (edit) experience desirable. 2. Knowledge and application of precision measuring instruments and the application of such instruments. Instruments should include but not limited to calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gages, indicators and scales. 3. Knowledge of reading drawings and specifications with a good understanding of shop math. 4. Intermediate knowledge of tool holders, cutting tools, boring bars, fixtures, inserts and other accessories used on various machines. 5. Must be able to follow written and oral instructions. Excellent manual dexterity required as well as an eye for visual quality and small features 6. Must be able to communicate in English (both written and oral) as it relates to the job. 7. Must be adaptable to a changing work environment, competing demands and is able to deal with frequent change, delays or unexpected events. 8.
